NICU-specific prompts encourage them to keep themselves educated and involved. Trish explains, “Many NICU families without a journal like this wouldn’t know to ask about weight, medications, or lab tests. Some hospitals are great at sharing information, but some aren’t, and a lot of the time families have no idea what's going on.”
The previously communicated part-time eligibility rules, which require all eligible part-time employees to work a minimum average of 12 hours per week to qualify for medical, dental, and vision benefits are still in effect. The calculation of hours worked will generally include hours paid, including paid leaves.
